- Discussions about the European Cour of Human Rights and the Convention for the Protection of Human Rights and Fundamental Freedoms - the legal and political dimension
- Human rights in the practice of foreign policy of the countries of Central Europe
- Human rights in the legislation (constitutions) of Central European countries
- Promoting respect for human rights in the political agenda of member states of the Council of Europe in relation to states and other political entities outside the RE (postulative layer and implementation: restrictions related to pursuing political and economic interests)
- Practical resolution of conflicts resulting from various ways of defining human rights: where the law ends and politics begins

- Would Machiavelli support the European Court of Human Rights and the Convention for the Protection of Human Rights and Fundamental Freedoms?
- Human rights and the idea of a strong state and effectiveness in politics
Event prepared as part of the project Regional Center for International Debate in Krakow 2016-2018, co-financed by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Poland.
The conference will be simultaneously translated from Polish into English (and vice versa).
